Passport

Teachers avail work permits on the basis of a Non-immigrant B Visa valid for 90 days and a passport valid for 6 months. A Non-Immigrant Visa is normally issued for three months and can be extended up to one year if you meet the requirements for the category you are applying for. Therefore, the most significant checkpoints regarding passport while travelling to Thailand would be –

  • Validity of the passport for 6 months from the date of landing in Thailand.

  • The passport book should have sufficient Visa pages to accommodate continued Visa renewal.
